Valve

The command allows to design a valve in 3D. The representation of valves in an industrial plant can be approached in two ways: using a detailed representation of the component or using a symbolic representation of the component.

Given the vast variety of valve types on the market, the piping module provides a symbolic representation of the component, leaving the task of providing a detailed component to the user library, the QSiLibrary or the components provided by individual manufacturers.

The software provides a schematic drawing for the following types of valves, each with its own precise graphic representation.

Valve typologies:

Butterfly Valve Ball Valve Check valve

Gate Valve Globe Valve Plug Valve

The insertion phase of a valve offers the following options:

Default: Insertion by connector.
POint: Insertion by point a direction.
Mid: Allows to insert a valve in the middle of an existing pipe.
