Connectors

The pipe connector inherit the 2D an d3D functions, but is present specific characteristics for the piping ambient.

the connector is nosmally visible and it is shown only when necessary.

it present itself with a small colored sphere in the final position of the tube. the connectors are automatically created by the software of the library. every library component provides one or more connectors, in general one for every possible connection point.

they can be created by the users to upgrade the functionality.

connectors are fundamentals in the drawing phase of the piping lines.  They allow the automatic connection of components in the lines during the use of piping commands and are compatible with   the standard operation of part editing commands.


examples:

the easiest example is simply linking an elbow and a tube. when an elbow is selected it will ask to select a connector too. It's sufficient to select near the connector to obtain the auto-attachment.
