Replace Part

What

This command replaces a part present in the drawing with a part loaded from outside (.dwg file).

Why

The command can be used to replace a part with a different version or a different revision.

How

Once launched, you are asked which part you want to replace. Once the selection is made, you are asked whether any children of the part that needs to be replaced should be kept or deleted. If you decide to keep them, they will be aggregated as children of the loaded part, adding to the existing children.

You are then asked if you want to replace all parts with the same code.

Once the external part definition file is selected, all occurrences of the part to be replaced are updated.
