Load Multiple Parts

What

Loads an external .dwg file as a part into the current drawing. The created part will be a child of the current part.

It differs from the Load Part command  because it does not stop after the first insertion.

Why

This command allows you to assemble multiple saved drawings into a single sheet and speeds up the creation of the parts tree by allowing the user to define libraries of frequently used drawings.

How

The file selection window is displayed. The user can select a drawing file and confirm. The user will then be asked to select the insertion point in the graphics area.

A preview of the geometries that will be inserted is shown to make insertion easier.

Note

If the platform FILEDIA variable is set to 0, the request for the drawing file to be loaded occurs through the command line.
