Drawing Scale

The software is mainly used to estimate the materials present in plants. This estimate is performed using polyline of a length corresponding to the dimension (in meters) to be counted. For this reason the drawing is drawn in real scale with the drawing measure unit corresponding to millimetres (mm).

To obtain a correct drawing scale you need to correctly set the drawing scale. Usually 1:50 or 1:100.

To use the P&ID mode you need to have a 1:1 drawing scale.

Piping length

The piping length is automatically calculated by the software in counting phase and when the edit attributes dialog is launched.

It is possible to force the length of a pipe by editing the corresponding attribute and typing the length value in the length field.

The measure unit of the length is the same as the drawing one (usually millimetres) and it is always rounded up at the nearest whole number. In this case the piping total length will not be calculated with the sum of the polylines.
