This type of shot peening can be used to peen chain shots which, being made up of empty "virtual" parts, do not allow the shot to be attached to the real part.

After selecting the chain pulls the software will activate the chain pulls one at a time asking to position the dot. The dot will be hooked to the part of the chain pull. Graphically it will be connected to a section of the transport.
