Context Menu
In this chapter we analyze the functions available in the Navigator Context Menu.
Activate Top
See Top_Mod_Prt_Top command
Activate father
See Top_Mod_Prt_Pdr command .
Active ->
Shows the parts tree structure from the selected part to the TOP part.
New
Creates a new part, child of the selected one. See Top_Init_Prt command .
Delete
Deletes the selected part. See Top_Delete_Prt command.
Attributes
Edits the attributes of the selected part and its children according to the branch open state in the parts tree and the application settings. See Top_Attr command.
Classification
Allows you to assign a classification to the selected parts. Different sets of attributes can be assigned to different classifications. See Top_Classify_Prt command
Cut
Move the selected part into the parts tree. Once the part is cut, to insert it, simply select the part that will be its parent, press the right mouse button and select " Paste ".
Copy
Copy the selected part into the parts tree. Once the part is cut, to insert it, simply select the part that will be its parent, press the right button and select " Paste ".
Copy Pt.Base
Copies the selected part within the parts tree with the peculiarity of also requiring a point from the graphics area to use as a reference for pasting.
Paste
Pastes a selection of copied or cut parts, as a child of the currently pointed part.
Label
Allows you to view the label settings dialog.
The dialog allows you to define all the main parameters of the label: color, bold, italics and underlining. The "Reset Defaults" command allows you to reset the parameters.
View
Turn on
Turns on the selected parts.
Turn off
Turns off the selected parts. See Top_PrtFreeze command .
Isolate
Turns off all parts except the selected ones. See Top_Isola_Prt command.
Turn on All
See Top_Vis_Tutte command .
Invert visibility
See Top_Vis_Inv command.
Turn on annotations
See Top_ShowAnnotation command .
Turn off annotations
See Top_HideAnnotation command .
Save the State
Allows the user to save the current on/off state of parts in memory. See Top_Save_PartState command.
Activate Status
Restores a previously saved part display state. See Top_Restore_PartState command .
Delete Status
Deletes a part display state from the list. See the Top_Delete_PartState command .
Order
Bring to the Beginning
Moves the selected part to the first position among those at the same level.
Bring Above
Moves the selected part one position back in the parts list at the same level.
Door Below
Moves the selected part one position forward in the parts list at the same level.
Bring to the End
Moves the selected part to the last position among those at the same level.
Parts
Active Previous
Reactivates the part that was active immediately before the current part.
Renaming
Rename the selected part.
Explode
Explode the selected part. See command
Aggregate
Aggregates geometries to the selected part. See Top_Mv_Elem command .
Convert in bulk
Converts the selected part into a block. See Top_Prt2Blk command .
Transform to External Reference
Converts the selected part to an Xref. See Top_Prt2Xref command .
Zoom
Performs the “Zoom Extension” of the selected part.
Selection
Select entities of a part.
Color
Sets the color of the entire part's highlights. See Top_Color_Prt command .
Reset Color
Allows you to reassign the default light line color to selected parts. See Top_ResetColor_Prt command .
Save
Exports the selected part with its children. See Top_Save_Prt command .
Save to User Library
Saves the selected part to the User Libraries. See Topl_SavePrtUserLib command .
Load
Inserts the parts structure of an external DWG file as a child of the selected part. See Top_Load_Prt command .
External Charge
Insert the parts structure of an external DWG file as a child of the selected part. See Top_Load_Ext_Prt command .
Finds
Allows you to search for a part within the tree. When the command is launched, the dialog in the figure will be displayed.
Attribute : Defines in which attribute to search for the keyword.
Value : Word to search for.
Entire Field : Search for the entire word or part of it.
Expand Node : Determines whether to expand found nodes.
The three central buttons allow you to:
- Select the next part that meets your search requirements.
- Select all parts that match your search criteria.
- Activate the next part that meets the search requirements.
The three buttons at the bottom allow you to:
- Activate selected part and exit.
- Zoom in on selected parts.
- Edit attributes of selected parts: opens the application's attribute editor, any changes will be applied to all selected parts.
Set base point
Defines the base point (origin) of the part. See Top_Change_Ref command
Select All
Allows you to select all the parts present on the tree.
Invert Selection
Allows you to invert the selection present on the tree.

Make the part editable or not editable. For more information see the chapter Locking and editability of parts
Commercial yes
Commercial no
Enable or disable the “Commercial” attribute of the part. If the commercial part is coded, you are asked if you want to change the status of all parts with the same code.
Include in Bill of Materials
Includes or excludes the selected part from the BOM. If excluded, it adds a "." to the part name; if included, it removes it.
Exclude from Bill of Materials
Includes or excludes the selected part from the BOM. If excluded, it adds a "." to the part name; if included, it removes it.
Set Bill of Material Status
Preserve from deleting empty parts
Makes selected parts not be removed by the Delete Empty Parts command even if there is no geometry inside them.
Allow deleting empty parts
Removes from selected parts the attribute that prevents them from being deleted by the Delete Empty Parts command.
Expand Branches
First Level
Expands the branches of the tree parts up to level 1.
Second Level
Expands the tree branches up to level 2.
Free
Expands the parts tree branches up to the level chosen by the user through a specific dialog.
Everyone
Expands all branches of the parts tree.
Expand
Expands only the branch of the selected part.
Reduce
Reduces the branch of the selected part.
