The category module does not have any configuration interface. It is possible to set some parameters in the file Categories.ini, which is in the same position where the module Categories.arx is defined.

In the configuration file are set the following parameters:

  • ShowDialog
  • Saves the display settings of the category dialogue when the programme is started. 1 shows the view, 0 shows that the dialogue must remain hidden.
  • DefCatName
  • Sets the default name of the drawing’s default category.
  • DefCatBkColor
  • Sets the background colour of the default category in the dialogue box.
