- Use the dialogue-box where the main parameters of the object are displayed to set the desired Headless Screws type . The parameters displayed are the diameter and the length, both displayed in a list. To each diameter will correspond a list of different available lengths. It is also possible to set the pitch parameter . Two buttons allow the user to select a Thick pitch or a Thin pitch. These buttons change automatically the diameter and length lists. Each time a grain or pitch type is changed, the diameter the closest to the last selected is highlighted and set as current. To change grain type click on the right side of the image displaying the grain, and the image is automatically updated. Acting on the left side of the image the view changes. The description of the end type which determines the selected grain is displayed on one text line placed under the button " Headless Screws Type". There is also a button which confirms the creation of a part and a list to set the type of material for the grain.
The code of the grain part is customizable by editing the value in the appropriate dialogue- box. If this dialogue remains empty, the code will be created automatically. Click on Menu "Codify" and a dialogue box appears and allows the user to select a specific grain between those previously codified. Select the grain to draw and insert the layering point and the rotation angle.
