top_etic1

Part Label (1)
What
Draws a leader labeled with the value contained in an attribute of the indicated part. This command is controlled by the variable AttrEtic1, which can be changed through the balloon style options.
Why
To report on the drawing, for example, the indication of the code or the description of a part.
How
Once the command is launched, you will be asked how you want to label, that is, you will be asked if you want to label the current part, the parent of the current part, the first level of a selection of parts, a list of parts, or a multiple selection of parts. If you want to label a list of parts, a window with the hierarchical structure of the tree will be displayed, with a checkbox next to each part name to set if you want to label that part, while the parts already labeled will be marked with the label icon (in the example in the figure we see that the cylinder and head parts have already been previously labeled).

You can also label parts in BricsCAD mechanical views.
In layout space, you select the “MEcview” option and indicate the view geometries that reference the 3D objects in the model.

To simplify the labeling operation, a badge is displayed next to the selection pointer to indicate whether the part has already been labeled or not.

This functionality is subject to the CURSORBADGE option in AutoCAD.
