Top Design Assistance (TDA)
Top Design Assistance — is a functionality, already available in CAD systems such as GBG and ME10, that allows users to execute CAD commands by directly interacting with graphical entities in the drawing.
TDA is activated by holding down the Ctrl key and right-clicking on a graphical entity.
While the Ctrl key is pressed, the Navigator cursor changes, and the four red arrows are replaced by a small yellow lightning bolt, indicating that TDA mode is active.
Work Mode:

Selection using current color and line type [Ctrl]

Selection inheriting color and line type from the selected entity [Ctrl + Shift]
Behavior
By default, TDA re-invokes the command that generated the selected entity:
- Selecting a line triggers the _LINE command
- Selecting a circle triggers the _CIRCLE command
Under standard conditions, TDA executes the command using the current color and line type.
To inherit the color and line type from the selected entity, the Ctrl + Shift key combination must be used.
Extended Capabilities
TDA is not limited to standard CAD commands; it is also capable of recognizing and invoking various TOP commands.
