The available dimensioning types allow you to dimension the diameter of circles by automatically adding the standard diameter symbol “Ø” or the threaded diameter symbol “M” to the dimension text. They also allow you to dimension a chamfer by specifying its angle value.

A dedicated function also makes it possible to indicate the symmetry of any dimension with respect to its center.


Particularly useful functions are Top_QuoteFori and Top_TabellaFori, which enable the automatic dimensioning of hole centers belonging to a plate, using a reference point defined by the user.

In addition to placing the dimensions, these commands also create a table containing information about the holes. In particular, the second command allows the creation of a table that is especially useful for CNC drilling machines.

Dimension Consistency Filters

Enable Point Selection Filter :
Activates a filter during point selection, preventing the insertion of dimensions in empty space or on other dimensions.

Enable Geometry Selection Filter :
Activates a filter on entity selection, preventing dimensioning of entities that are not associated with parts or belong to parts with different scales.

Enable Part Association Filter :
This option can only be enabled if the “Enable Part Selection Filter” option is also active. If disabled, it allows dimensioning of entities not associated with any part.
