Attributes are a set of descriptive information that can be assigned to each part.
Assigned attributes can be edited through the attribute editing panels or viewed directly in the columns of the Parts Tree.

Classifications

Top uses a predefined standard attribute list stored in the file "attrib.txt" within the environment, which can be modified via the Attribute Manager panel.

Up to version 23, the attribute list available in the Attribute Editor is fixed. Starting from version 24, the concept of Classification has been introduced, allowing different sets of attributes to be assigned to parts.

This operation is carried out using the  command TOP_CLASSIFY_PRT.

 

Once the classification has been assigned, the attribute editing panel displays the selected attribute list.
