It allows modifying the way pipes, elbows, and some library components are drawn. Typically, the pipe is drawn as hollow to create an accurate representation of the model. However, if it's necessary to draw the pipe as "solid," the option can be activated.

Normally, complex solid components do not have "intelligent" grips. The piping module adds a special grip to pipes that allows for direct modification:

For each pipe, when selected, two grips are shown on both termination sides of the pipe. Next to the grip, an orange arrow is displayed, indicating the direction of movement of the pipe. By selecting the grip, you enter the pipe modification mode.

The modification via grips provides four modes:

A) Free Modification: The grip is moved to a specific position in space, and the pipe adjusts accordingly.

B) Length Modification: A graduated ruler is shown with the current pipe length value. The desired value can either be typed in or selected on the ruler if a rounded value is needed.

C) Extend Mode: A graduated ruler is shown with the current extension value. The desired value can be typed in or selected on the ruler for rounded values.

D) Limit Mode: The user is prompted to select a point. The pipe will be extended or shortened to the projected point of the selected point on the pipe's axis.
