top_ruota_prt
Rotate Part
What
Rotates the graphic elements of the indicated part, and its subparts. The command is not available if child parts of non-editable parts are selected. These parts are in fact considered as an integral part of the non-editable part and cannot be modified in any way.
Instead, the command works fine if you want to move non-editable parts with children, because in this case the TOP interprets the operation as a modification to the positioning of the parts, which does not involve changes to the structure given to the part.
Why
It is used when you want to rotate parts previously created on the current drawing.
How
You need to indicate a graphic element of the part to be rotated, then perform the same operations as the rotate command (See AutoCAD command).
Note
If the part selected during the command is at a lower hierarchical level than one of the child parts of the current part, the application displays the extended selection dialog .
The command triggers the AutoSnap mechanism: If the selected part has at least one Snap defined, it will be possible to exploit the magnet effect with other parts equipped with Snap.
