Show Mass Property

Ribbon: Top Mechanical Draw > Mechanical Annotations > Region

  • What
  • Creates more quickly an area easy to consult the relative mass properties.
  • Why
  • It replaces the sequence of AutoCAD commands to calculate the mass properties.
  • How
  • Select a point in the outline, press once RETURN and the entire area is hatched.

An AutoCAD text window is opened, as in the following image.

Enter the command and the area is hatched ,and next to the barycentre a block is created to access again and quickly the mass properties previously displayed.

This command of the AutoCAD 2007 version, and following, creates an AutoCAD table, customized according to the QSTABREGION style, containing this data.
