Explode Part

What

This command deletes the current part from the parts tree. All elements of the active part are moved to its parent part, then the part is deleted from the tree. If the exploded part has subparts, these become children of the parent part of the exploded part. At the end of the command, the active part is the parent of the one just exploded. The command is not available if a child part of a non-editable part is selected, because this operation would involve changes to the parts structure that are not allowed. However, it is always possible to explode a part even if it is set as non-editable.

Why

It is necessary when it is necessary to delete, from the parts tree, a part created incorrectly or belonging to a part loaded in the current drawing and which in this context is no longer needed.

How

Once the command has been launched, you need to indicate with a multiple selection window the parts to explode or you can press enter if you want to explode the current part.
