Revision Table

What

Provides the user with a tool to track revisions made to a drawing.

Why

During its productive life, the design of a component or machine tends to undergo various changes, called revisions, due to improvements introduced in response to needs that arise over time. In these cases, it is usual to make a change to the initial project, in order to satisfy these needs; this table helps to keep track of these revisions.

How

Once the command is launched, the user will be presented with the following interface, which follows the structure of the table that will be inserted. The command searches for the revision table in the current drawing, and if it finds it, it displays its content so that the user can modify or integrate it.

The normal TOP user will be free to fill out this table as he sees fit, while in the case of our management software, D&D, this table will refer to the revisions defined there, and the user will not be given the possibility to edit its content. In this case, in fact, the revisions described in D&D are valid, and if you want to modify them you need to refer to its tools.
