Once the tables are created, they need to be inserted into the database.
First, update the database index table.
Open the Excel sheet for the DB Layout and activate the DESCRIPTORS_DICT tab (the family index). Add a row at the end indicating the COMPONENT code for the new family. In our case, we’ll use PALL_A to identify the family of type A palletizers. In the DESC_ITA column, enter the description of the family, link the TAB_DESC to the PALLETTIZERS sheet (which we will create), define the FAMILY as PALL, set the type as CONFEZIONI (ROOTFAMILY), and the component type as G (GENERIC). All other fields can be left at zero.

The index table is correct. Now, let's create the component sheet.
Since we named the table PALLETIZERS (TAB_DESC), we will create a new sheet with this name.

Let’s introduce the basic columns by copying and pasting from an existing sheet (it is also possible to copy an entire sheet).

Fill in the values according to our needs, adding the extra attributes we find appropriate, and then save.
The final step is to update the CONSOLE to display the new family.
Open the CONSOLE sheet and add a new row.

Define the TAG – it must be unique – as PALL_A,
the text for the button as PALL,
the button's coordinates and dimensions, and
the name of the sheet (PALETTE) as PAL.
Finally, pass the component name PALL_A to the program (CMDSTR).
Save the Excel file and exit.
