AngChain
Calculate Angular Motions
Ribbon: Top Mechanical Draw > Transmissions > Angles
- What
- The command enables the calculation of the angular motions of sprockets.
- Why
- Useful to record the sprockets or the pulleys with a certain angle during the transmission study phase.
- How
- You are asked to indicate which sprocket to rotate and which angle and the program automatically calculates and displays the angles of rotation of sprockets of the assembly. The initial angle is indicated by a red vector and the angle with a green vector indicating the final position. It is also shown the angular value of each sprocket or pulley. When you press the "ENTER" button, values are removed and drawing reactivated; if you leave the command by pressing "ESC" button, the function is interrupted and the values are not removed in order to be used when printing.
