Offset a Line

Menu: Top > Specials > Offset a Line

  • What
  • Creates an entity type THICK CONTINUOUS parallel to the entity indicated at the given distance.
  • Why
  • This command has the same utility as the AutoCAD command OFFSET, with only difference it always displays the new entity with an entity linetype THICK CONTINUOUS.
  • How
  • Select the entity to offset (line, arc, circle or polly line) and set the distance to create the new entity.
