Activate Part

Ribbon: Top Parts > Management > Parent Part

  • What
  • Activates the part which element has been indicated or given the name.
  • Why
  • To activate a part different from the one which you are working on.
  • How
  • Indicate a graphical element or digit ENTER and insert the name of the part to activate. If many parts have the same name the first part of the part tree is activated.

Nota

When a part is activated, all the part entities are highlighted. When a part is activated and it has a different scale from the TOP part (except for the detail parts), a warning is displayed.
