  • What
  • Creates a new part, child of the Top Part. It can be used before starting graphically the new part, and after, selecting the graphical elements which compose the part. According to the AutoAttr.ini configuration file a part enhancement can be imported with the name inserted by the user. E.g. who names the parts with drawing codes can set the AutoAttr.ini file in such way the part’s name automatically fills in CODE attribute. Who names created parts with a description, can set the AutoAttrr.ini file to automatically fill in the DESCRIPTION file with the name typed during the part creation step.

  • Create a part directly at level one of the part tree.
  • How
  • The command assumes two phases: the first inserts the part's name, and in case selects the graphical elements which should compose it; the second (not part of the command) inserts the enhancement values of the created part directly editing them. The insertion of the part’s name, and the possibility to select graphical elements, is simplified by a dialogue-box. The new part becomes the active part. The part's name can not be longer than 256 characters. While inserting the part’s name, the drop-down menu saves the last parts names inserted. Expanding the menu all the parts names inserted most recent will be displayed.
