Change Reference Point

Ribbon: Top Parts > Management > Set Reference Point

  • Changes the reference point of the current part. We advise to set the reference point in a part’s distinctive point.
  • Why
  • To set a part reference point in a distinctive point is useful while loading it as subpart (see Top_Carica_Prt).
  • How
  • The command’s dialogue box displays the current reference point’s coordinates. These can be modified in the dialogue box, or set with Select by clicking on the drawing the desired point. With OK confirm the selection.
