Recover Autosave File

  • Recovers *.sv$ files saved with AutoCAD AutoSave.
  • Why
  • This command can recover drawings directly in the AutoCAD and automates standard operations to search these files, rename them in .dwg and open them.
  • How
  • Entered the command from its prompt, the following dialogue box is opened.

The .sv$ files are searched in default in the temporary file where usually are saved AutoSave Files. The user must move as in a normal Windows open file window, glance through the folders and select the file to open. The other buttons are linked to Windows standard functions. Once selected the correct file, click on the Open button.
