Top Special Circle

Ribbon: Top Mechanical Draw > Draw > Top Circle

  • What
  • Draws a circle and displays next to the graphic cursor the AutoCAD radius or diameter values.

Enter the command and on the screen is displayed a dialogue to select the plotting mode (Radius or Diameter). The dialogue can modify the snap value (grid) on which the AutoCAD cursor must move. Snap can be activated/deactivated with the F9 button.

  • To give a better view and simplify circle insertion.
  • How
  • Insert the first origin point (circle’s centre) and on the top of the screen a dialogue-box is displayed to choose between the Radius (default) or Diameter mode. Insert the value with the keyboard or select a point with the mouse, which will jog attracted by each angle set in the dialogue.
