This function as well as the copy of the generic part seen before, allows you to copy a portion from a certain drawing. The peculiarity of this command is the request for a point to be used as a hook point when you have to paste the part. The copied part is saved with all its data and its attributes in a temporary file. Then, when the user launches the paste function, the part is added within the active drawing under the current part while the graphic part can be moved as desired within the graphics area, hooked to the point provided initially . This command expresses its full potential when working on different drawings through the use of parts that are then copied from a dwg and used in another with a net increase in productivity.
