Activate/Deactivate Parts Global Mode

Menu: Top Parts > Global

  • What
  • Activates and deactivates the parts’ global mode.
  • Why
  • Blocks or unblocks the entities in the child parts of the active part.
  • How
  • The Global state is Active by default and the writing [Global] is displayed on the bottom left of the AutoCAD window, near the current part's name. In this state the child parts of the active part are unblocked. They can be modified by the AutoCAD editing commands (e.g. move, copy, stretch, etc…) Selecting the Top_Prt_Globale command, the Global state is deactivated and the writing [Global] is deleted. From this moment the child parts of the active part are blocked and cannot be modified with the AutoCAD editing commands. Select again the command to activate the Global mode.
